About the Solace

The Solace bouquet combines colors seen in both Spring and in weddings. The soft shades of blue from the hydrangea truly compliment the bright pink cremons and the beautiful lilac roses we chose to include in the bouquet. Of course with such elegant colors we decided on seeded eucalyptus, white roses, and white carnations to elevate those amazing pastel colors. Here at C.I.G. Flowers we love to create bouquets that are not only beautiful but also long lasting! However, blue hydrangeas are known for being very dramatic! Therefore we included step-by-step photos to demonstrate how to wake up such a dramatic flower.

How to Resurrect your Hydrangea

Dramatic Hydrangea

First start off with your limp hydrangea flower

Then fill up a big bowl/bucket with regular water (preferably filtered water), and drown the entire Hydrangea flower over night.
*Unlike the picture above, make sure the leaves are also getting soaked*

Alive Hydrangea

The next morning the Hydrangea flower should look exactly as it did when you first purchased it! Make sure to cut a CM of the stem before placing it in your desired vase!
